The performance of a business is tied closely to the goals and influences of the CEO and executive team. I’ve found repeatedly that those companies that grow rapidly (and sustain their growth!) are those with a CEO who is committed to building a legacy, rather than just putting in time on a “job.”

Whether you have the ambition and drive to build a legacy or not, the key is this: your employees emulate your persona. Put another way, if your commitment or dedication to the future of the company is less than stellar, then it’s likely your employees will act in the same fashion.

Even if you’re not in the CEO role, this rule applies. Your employees are only as motivated and committed as they perceive you to be.

So then the question that you’re likely pondering is the characteristics of people who are committed to building their legacy.

In this brief video I discuss the key attributes of those leaders who are committed to building a legacy. Do you have what it takes? Watch this video to find out!
