Self-Awareness

The #1 strength (or skill) I think any business leader needs to have is Self-Awareness.

Nothing else matters.

Let me tell you why that is.

Whether you have a staff of 3, 3000, or you are the CEO of a multi-national corporation, your ability to motivate them, get them to show up on time, be innovative, collaborate well, provide quality service or build quality products for your customers – all the aspects you want in an employee, regardless of the title – all depends on your ability to influence them.
