When was the last time you opened the door for a stranger, said “excuse me,” or bought a coffee for a complete stranger? The later may seem far fetched, but not if you consider whether you would give your life for a complete stranger.

The value of human life can not be under appreciated. As the saying goes, the only things to be confident of in life are death and taxes. As pessimistic as this may sound, the reality is that we will eventually face the former, and unfortunately the timeline is not known.

Take time today not just to remember, but to consider the future, the importance of family and friends and the value of life. Far too many have lost this opportunity, simply out of their willingness to help a complete stranger.
