If you have ever read any of the plethora of self-help books undoubtedly you would have stumbled across statistics that show that what we think about tends to be. Put another way, if you focus on something long enough, it tends to become your reality.
I could prove this a dozen ways, like when I set a goal to quite my corporate job and launch my business or when I set the goal to take four weeks of vacation last year. You get the picture.
But how does this impact us on a daily basis?
Have you ever heard someone say “things can’t get much worse,” but then they do? How about someone who worries excessively over loosing their job, only to be let go shortly thereafter?
Henry Ford once said “whether you think you can or you can’t – you’re right.”
Our mind is a powerful tool and in ultimately what we listen to, watch or read serves to fill our mind with the reality we choose. As an entrepreneur or business owner your mindset impacts your attitude and your attitude affects pretty much everything from your relationship with customers to how you treat your employees.

So be careful to whom or what you listen too because your mindset is the difference between achieving the success you desire or not.
What information are you consuming on a daily basis?
